SOM Golden Thoughts
November 2008 – February 2009 Volume 12, No. 5
Dear Friends,
Change is in the air! Yes, it most certainly is!! Not just in the color of the leaves, but socially, politically, culturally, and I would surmise most importantly, spiritually. It is a great and exciting time to be alive. We believe it is also a time for each of us to declare that we are all open to greater and greater possibilities of joy, love, and prosperity. We learned long ago that resentment and anger are certain blocks to all three—joy, love, and prosperity. We have also learned that being grateful and open to the possibilities of good is the most certain way to bring joy, love, and prosperity into our lives.
We are embarking once again into the consciousness of the most joyous, loving seasons of the year. We are well into the Thanksgiving month, and it will soon be followed by the celebration of the Christ consciousness within each of us. No matter how old we are or how often we have experienced this time of year it never gets old when we have love and joy in our hearts. We are provided by the One Source which is God, the Good. It is uppermost in the minds of all of us who enter this holy season with a true understanding of its joy and meaning, that we remember that God is the One Source of our good. While shopping for Thanksgiving turkeys or other wonderful foods that celebrate our thankfulness, it is paramount that we do so with joy and love as well as patience and understanding. This is especially true of the Christmas shopping season. We have two members of our beloved church that will be involved directly with the selling, stocking, and supplying of the countless items available for purchase. When we shop, let us all think of these two wonderful church members and be patient and respectful of all store personnel, for they too are God expressing as creatively and as lovingly as they can. Just imagine that each and every encounter we have during the Christmas shopping season is in some way directly or indirectly helping to circulate the prosperity of God to each of these two church members in particular.
We recently concluded another fiscal year of this beloved church. Our annual meeting was an expression of joy and accomplishment. We increased our financial position by a considerable amount over the previous fiscal year. GTCRS has grown in consciousness by offering two new candidates for the practitioner training class. Our other class, featuring the works of Thomas Troward, is greatly inspiring both students and teacher alike. We are so very blessed to be able to have one student in each class attend through the wonders of the internet. Their contribution to the two classes is immeasurable!
We are always grateful and thankful for the loving support that each of you gives us throughout the year. We know that this holy season and the New Year to come is already the best and brightest in Mind. We look forward to celebrating this wonderful season with each of you and anticipate another glorious year of GTCRS in all ways!
With Love and Joy,
Nancy and David

Prosperity and abundance are our natural nature. Financial wellbeing is our divine birthright. It is dependent upon our “right” relationship with the One Source of all our Good.
